Optimize your site load time using GZIP

Just doing a website is easy, but optimizing it to a level is a challenge for most of the webmasters. Well, if you worried about your site load time, then the first and foremost step is to use GZIP.

I would recommend to use this plugin.

CSS files can be aggregated and compressed into a single file,while JavaScript files are only aggregated (but not compressed).These optimizations may reduce server load, bandwidth requirements, and page loading times.
