Definition of a Joomla Template -Part 1
At first, remember that "c:\xampplite\htdocs\" is the root of your web server. The folder on your site named "MonSitePerso" is "c:\xampplite\htdocs\MonSitePerso\".
After installing your site "MonSitePerso", you have noticed that the url "http://localhost/MonSitePerso" provides a default view based on a template "rhuk_solarflare_ii " supplied as standard with joomla.
A template is the element that manages the design of your site. Specifically, it is a directory with the name of your template and located in the "\template" of your site. By default, the installation of joomla 1.0.15 provides two templates "rhuk_solarflare_ii" and "madeyourweb". You can add your own. So, for the same site, different templates are available and each gives an appearance and a particular design.
In the following you will create your own templace named "TemplatePerso". Then the folder of your new template will be as follows:
 "c:\xampplite\htdocs\MonSitePerso\templates\TemplatePerso\".
